HVAC-Projekt can provide solid engineering support for both Design Practices and Construction companies. Our team has been working in close association with consulting engineers predominantly from the United Kingdom. During this period we have gained a full appreciation of the construction market in general and the Building Services sector in particular. Our design principles are tailored to the legislations, building regulations, energy efficiency requirements that make for responsible engineering workshops.

Being members of Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) our designs will take the direction of the CIBSE’s engineering Guides and Memorandums. We have however, also worked to ASHRAE Standards and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) credit system. We are completely conversant with the requirements laid out under the BREEAM project led directives.

HVAC Projekt has successfully assisted on industrial, commercial and residential schemes as well as infrastructural projects, such as public transportation and airport developments. Assistance can be provided to varying degrees of the project, from initial concept design, submission of system calculations, through to construction issue drawings.

HVAC-Project offers the following elements of the design process:

• Mechanical Services and Public Health design calculations, inc heat loss and gains, thermal models, pressure loss calculations on water and air systems – IES Virtual Environment,
• Electrical Services design calculation – Cable sizing and lighting calculations – Amtech, Dialux,
• Plant selection and schedules, liaison with suppliers,
• Production of particular and standard specifications (Workmanship and Materials),
• Document controlling and editing,
• Production of 2D and 3D drawings to various levels of detail,
• BIM modelling –multidisciplinary coordination in Revit Autodesk
• Site meetings, and coordination with all disciplines,
• Site surveys
• Commissioning and Soft Landing recommendations

HVAC-Project offers the following elements of the estimating process:

• Design and Build, Pre-Design and/or Schedule of Rates pricing methods.
• Material take off of plant, piped services and specialist sub-contractors.
• Labour assessment based on standard installation ‘norms’.
• Lump sum value or service-by-service cost breakdown or unit rate items.
• Contractors proposals, scheduling of plant and equipment
• Value Engineering options
